Brilliant Books for your hustle

These books primarily have educated me and I hold them ALL in high regard and will specify when I do not, I’ve separated the books into categories to display the books to listen to/ read (if you hate being efficient and having fun travels) so you can learn from specific books at specific times that teach different topics!

These books I have read 100% through audible I am not endorsed by Audible, however, I do LOVE the product. The reason I use Audible is that I travel a significant amount and instead of wasting all of those hours and brain power on music I try to spend it learning.

The four hour work week!

This book is a classic, it is Tim Ferris’ super efficient method of escaping a boring and unfulfilling existence crammed into a book, it shows how efficiency can lead to freedom through passive income, hustle and setting things up just right. He speaks on investments, starting up a business from scratch with little capital, why to do it and how to do it. Check it out

“But you are the average of the five people you associate with most, so do not underestimate the effects of your pessimistic, unambitious, or disorganised friends. If someone isn’t making you stronger, they’re making you weaker.”
― Timothy FerrissThe 4-Hour Workweek

Biographical books personally help me a huge amount, particularly I tend to stay away from the average Biographies that are obviously written by ghost writers of superstars who’ve barely opened the book, Let alone written it. Books that display real hustle mindset and a particular drive to be successful all bring great value and motivation (although motivation doesn’t bring an ounce of success, work does.)

A Life in Parts – Bryan Cranston

Great insights into how far people can go under particular pressures for better or worse, he has hit massive lows and MAJOR highs, giving insights that only a man who has experienced what he has could ever tell you. Displays the part luck plays in success, however, highlights how hard work enables you to capitalise on the opportunities given to you.

“I will pursue something that I love and hopefully become good at it, instead of pursuing something that I’m good at but don’t love” – BRYAN CRANSTON

Total Recall – Arnold Schwarzenegger

This book is what made me fall in love with Biographies, they give insight into the lives, choices and downfalls of the world’s most successful people that you can apply towards your own life and career. Arnold mastered Bodybuilding then conquered his acting career and then rose to political heights. He shows his life principles, his quiet hustle mentality and his ability to apply his life lessons to his crafts, great book great story.

“Rule Number 5: The day has 24 hours .                                                                                           Rule Number 6: Reps, Reps, Reps                                                                                                   Rule Number 8: Change takes big balls”  – Arnold Schwarzenegger

The Warren Buffet Way- Robert Hagstrom OR How to make money in stocks – William J. O’Neil

Either of these books will do you wonders as they have for me, they teach the brilliance of Warren Buffet and genuinely great information on buying stocks, investing, saving money and life advice from truly great investors and mentors of many. Warren Buffet has some insane investments and How to make money in stocks could be traded out for “unshakeable” by Tony Robins to really show it doesn’t matter that we might have a correction tomorrow, what matters is that you invest your money and beat inflation and easily beat the market.

NO EXCUSES – Brian Tracy

ALRIGHT straight up, this book changes my life. Maybe not necessarily because it’s an amazing book but, more likely because it was the right time in my life to receive this book, I was a kid who wasted his time, gave excuses for not getting good grades and hung out with the wrong crowd. This book showed me WHY I should want to be successful and HOW I can get there, it displayed that success requires self-discipline and HARD WORK. From here I started to read more and more self-help books, many books like this are completely useless for a lot of people, but at the right time and the right place it can turn a life around.

“You can make excuses, or you can make progress. You decide” – BRIAN TRACY

This book taught me how to save money, use money and spend money. If you have issues with money you MUST read this book or another basic’s of money book. This book is fiction and tends to help people who find these sort of books boring be a little more interested. It teaches basic principles through stories that are mildly entertaining yet display the obvious messages they’re trying to convey.

You cannot reach financial freedom without knowledge of how to handle money.

“A part of all I earn is mine to keep.’ Say it in the morning when you first arise. Say it at noon. Say it at night. Say it each hour of every day. Say it to yourself until the words stand out like letters of fire across the sky.”
― George S. ClasonThe Richest Man in Babylon
